when browsing kcubrex every new page has the "this page has secure/nonsecure items, do you wish to display" box popping up. Can I do something to make this stop? Settings issue on my computer I think.

Me too. so the "s" should be removed so it's only http?

How would I do this?

I've noticed an issue with the forums in Google Chrome. When I try to open forum threads in a new tab, it opens both in the new tab AND in the current tab. Everything works fine in IE and Firefox, and I have no problems with other PhpBB forums in Chrome, so maybe it's something version-specific?
